Introducing Mason Troy Morgan!

Mason Troy Morgan was born July 14th at 7:48 pm (after being induced 4 days late). He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 22 inches long. He is healthy and mellow and absolutely perfect! We are so blessed to have him here! Christian is being a sweet big brother so far...now if we can just get some sleep :)

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

In efforts to "kill time" this weekend, we hit a Bee's game, which Christian loved! He looked too cute decked out in his Angels jersey and cap - compliments of Jace and Nana. I must add that I was the only 9 month+ prego riding the kiddie train! Call me a trooper :)

Welcome Home Elder Morgan

Troy's brother Eric returned from his mission in Harrisburg, PA last week. The kids were so excited to hold the signs and balloons at the airport but they were scared to actually talk to Uncle Eric (understandable seeing Christian and the other 2-year olds were only 3 months old when he left). Any single ladies out there, he's a catch!

No Baby Yet!!

The big D-Day has come and gone with no baby...so disappointing!! I was even on the list to be induced today (on my due date) and got bumped because labor and delivery was too busy. Talk about disappointment! My bags are packed, the house is ready and I have nothing to do but wait! Today I hit the Country Club pool in Park City to sulk and then got a pedicure with my mom so I guess life isn't too rough. Now if I can just keep myself entertained throughout the weekend...then I'm scheduled for Monday morning! Send some happy labor dust my way and we'll let you know when our little "no name" baby arrives!

4th of July Festivities

We're trying to stay busy and hope this baby makes his way out REAL SOON! We had a fun holiday weekend which included Christian riding in the neighborhood bike parade, swimming and fireworks with cousins, barbeques and boating - yes we tried to bounce the baby out with a bumpy boat ride but no success - guess I should have tried tubing or waterskiing to get things going!! I'm not dilated or having any contractions with only 4 days until D-Day so hopefully I get to schedule an induction date at my apt. this week...we'll keep everyone posted!
Daddy convinced Christian to go tubing - a first - and he loved it (as long as he thought Nana was pulling the tube, not the big boat)!
Enjoying some rare cuddles from my boy, I'm getting sad that he won't be my baby anymore!!
Enjoying the fireworks and good ole' fashioned root beer floats with cousins - yummy!

Naked Construction

Shall I say the Village People or future Chip 'n Dale in training? Christian had just gotten out of his pool so I stripped off his wet suit. Daddy and Uncle Miles were fixing our deck and Christian went running inside yelling, "I need my clothes!" When he came out with his hard hat and hammer, I realized he had said, "I need my tools!" Apparently he wanted to help - he never fails to entertain us!

Ready to Pop - the Big Belly Post

Sure signs my turkey is done cooking...
1. The constant urge to pee but when I sit down, absolutely no relief as only a small trickle comes out...then 5 minutes later needing to pee again!!
2. Rolling over in bed is like an Olympic sport requiring all my strength as I throw my body pillow over and then hoist my huge belly over...then as I attempt to fall back asleep, I have to get up to pee for the tenth time!
3. If I hear "you look like you're going to pop" or "let me guess what you're having" from a stranger one more time, I just might pop them!
4. The pregnant "waddle" is in full force with the back arched and belly thrown forward and there's no controlling it at this point.
5. I'm starting to contemplate alternative induction measures: evening primrose oil, garlic chicken pizza at Trio (which I will endulge in anyway - it's delicious), castor oil cocktail (yes, many experienced users have shared their recipe with me although I'm quite frightened by the horror stories of endless diarrhea)...we'll see how desperate I get as the days pass :)

I can't complain too much, I really do feel great considering my due date is 2 weeks away and I'm not all swollen from the heat but it's about time to be done and meet jr. Get this - my dr. hasn't even started checking to see if I'm dialated yet - that's how confident she is that this baby is NOT COMING EARLY! My first "check" won't be until next week at 39 weeks - that's unheard of!! In the meantime, I will work on my patience and try to get as much sleep as I can for now...stay tuned.

Father's Day Weekend

Happy Father's Day Daddy!! You're my favorite golfing buddy and I love you! We spent Saturday at the Zermatt in Midway for a little golf, swimming and spa pampering with the fam.

This boy has a great swing, guess he takes after his dad!

Striking Resemblance?

Troy's mom gave us this American Girl doll while we were pregnant...little did she know we'd have a twin 2 years later, same haircut and all!

White Trash Bowling Bash

My Mom & Jace were married April 11th on a gondola boat in Lake Las Vegas. To celebrate they threw a White Trash Bowling Bash last weekend with matching bowling shirts, a Twinkie cake, pulled pork BBQ and fake red roses. We all had a blast! Of course my family had to dress the part of White Trash - check us out!!

Beach Getaway

I booked a last minute trip to San Diego for me and Christian to see Nat, Braxton & Hailee over Memorial weekend. It was a nice little getaway before we have a new addition. Christian had a bawl playing at the beach and seeing his cousins! He asks to go back to Aunt Nat's on an airplane every day now...

Check out our new matching Etnies - so cool!

Another beautiful day at the beach.

Trying out the skateboard with the big kids - and he's pretty good too!

Day Out with Thomas

We took Christian to see Thomas the Train in Heber on Friday. He was so excited the whole way there, then a little overwhelmed once we arrived. It was a mob scene of parents and kids decked out in Thomas gear. He had the most fun eating at Dairy Keen afterwards and seeing the little train go around the restaurant - go figure, cheap entertainment is the best! Thanks to Nana for a fun day and new Thomas gear!

Apparently getting a sticker tattoo is a very terrifying experience - and we were forcing it, so mean!! :)

3D Ultrasound - 30 Weeks

Only 2 More Months in Counting...Christian and my mom came with me to my second 3D ultrasound last week - we told Christian we were watching a movie and he kept saying "There's a Monkey!" The pics look almost identical to Christian's 30 week ultrasound - those dang Morgans have strong genes - at least they are cute :)

Christian "loving the baby," or more like mommy forcing him to :)

Christian Turns 2!!

We had a big, wild party at Jungle Jim's Playland (30+ people)! The kids loved all the rides and games. Christian sure has a lot of family and friends who love him! He loved his "choo choo" cake (isn't it darling) and it was a train birthday for sure - he made a haul on Thomas stuff! We can't believe our baby is already 2! Such a fun celebration...

Christian is IT!!

Christian was tagged by his girlfriend Olivia so here are 10 things we love about Christian...

1. He loves singing nursery rhymes, especially in the car...he'll belt out BINGO, No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, E-I-E-I-O and he wants us to sing too and then yells, "Again Mom, Again!" It's too cute!
2. He has a stuffed bunny that says the "Child's Prayer" when you squeeze it. He came out of his room with it, folding his arms then when it finished, he proudly exclaimed, "Amen" and then played it over and over again.
3. He has a tender heart like his Daddy. If you get mad or even raise your voice at him, he gets a big pouty lip and his eyes well up with tears and he wants you to console him, it's really sweet.
4. He loves to help Daddy with yard work or fix things, as soon as Troy gets out the lawn mower or a screw driver, Christian runs to get his and help Daddy...then he shouts "I did it!" or "Daddy fixed it!"
5. He's obsessed with playing all sports, anything with a ball he can hit, throw or catch (and he's quite good). He'll even watch ESPN with Daddy and tell him what he's in the mood for "Baseball, Golf, "Hoopball" or even Hockey on occasion.
6. He likes to copy mom too but when I try to tell him that curlers and nail polish are only for girls, he gets pretty upset! :)
7. He points out all the churches we see when we're driving - "there's a church!" and then "bye bye church" as we pass it.
8. He adores his cousins and aunts, whenever we ask him what he wants to do today, he gets excited and shouts "see Bob & Nat" (cousin Braxton & aunt Nat) or "Kiley & I I (his nickname for cousing Irelyn). He's lucky to have so many cousins close by.
9. He's obsessed with "choo choo trains" and has to take at least 2 with him everywhere we go.
10. He entertains us daily with the cute things he says - he talks so well now - and all the funny things he does. He's all boy and already has strong opinions on what he wants to wear, eat and do. His little brother is going to have a lot of competition!

Happy Anniversary Today!

You gotta love the dip and kiss shot...memories from an amazing day in our lives...4/8/2005.
To celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary, we had a romantic stay at the Zermatt Resort & Spa in Midway Saturday night. We started our evening with a fabulous couples massage (I highly recommend their spa) then we had a fancy dinner and rented a chick flick in bed (OK, only after Troy made me watch the rest of the college basketball game but it was a good compromise). Then we enjoyed breakfast in bed Sunday morning before heading out. It was such a nice getaway and much-needed break from our kido (thanks to my mom). It's hard to believe we've only been married for 3 years since we dated forever. It's been a great ride so far and we're looking forward to many more anniversaries to come...

The Winter that Just Won't Die...

Waking up to a foot of snow on my car this morning really makes me question why I live in Utah?! What happened to the first day of spring and where is that spring weather hiding?? Take me back to the beach!!

My Mom is Engaged!!

Congratulations to my mom and Jace who recently got engaged!! We are so happy that Jace will be joining our family for good - he's a great guy and we're lucky to have him in our lives (especially Christian who adores him)!

Happy Easter

All Dressed Up in Our Easter Best

Whatever happened to the days where kids actually had to "hunt" for the eggs?? The Easter Egg Hunts were more like busted pinatas of candy dumped on the grass while parents tackled each other for the candy until it was gone in 30 seconds! Very ENTERTAINING and great people watching!

Grandma Jody's egg hunt never fails to impress - the kids (and adults) truly had to hunt for treasures and we all came home with big bucks! Good times...
Look what the Easter Bunny brought me! All he cared about was his new Thomas trains, he loves "choo choos!" We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!!
