Uncle Chad's Birthday - August 16th

We celebrated Chad's birthday with our annual tradition of Crown Burger then cake and icecream at the cemetary. We let 33 red and blue balloons float up to heaven in honor of Chad's 33rd birthday. It's so neat to watch all the kids interact and talk about their uncle Chad, the older cousins all have such fun memories of him. It's still hard to believe he's been gone for over 2 years...we sure miss him!

One Happy/One Sad

These pictures truly capture our 2 son's personalities - our always happy Christian and our ornery little Mason! He really is a sweet baby but he sure cries a lot! He gave us his first smile last week but I doubt I'll be able to capture it on camera because it doesn't last long :) We really are grateful to have 2 sweet, healthy boys - even if our little guy is angry all the time...

Cherry Hills

We hit Cherry Hills waterpark last week with Grandma Linda, Aunt Brooke & Uncle Connor. It was our first time going there but we'll definitely be back (2 & under are free). Christian loved the kiddie pool and mom loved lounging in the sun with babysitters for the kids! :) It's sad that summer is coming to an end so soon, I'm not ready for cool weather yet! We better soak in all the sun while we can!

Update...

So we've been without the internet for 5 days! Apparently our modem went out and while anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new one, I realized how often I get online when I'm bored. I'm so happy to be back in action! :)

Wow, having 2 kids is a lot of work!! Hats off to those of you with multiple children - leaving the house is like a circus act! If you know me, I have a hard time staying home for long so we've been out playing hard with the help of family (thank-you).

We hit up Discovery Gateway twice in the past 2 weeks. The place is swarming with toddlers, breast-feeding moms and double-strollers (so naturally I fit right in). All the moms have learned it's a great place to entertain the kids (get a break) and wear them out for a good, long nap (get another break). It's brilliant and quite fun for the little tykes! I now have a season pass so let me know if anyone is ever interested in joining me.

I can't believe it's already been 1 month since our little Mason joined us. The last few weeks have been a blur which is probably due to the major lack of sleep! He's quite the tempermental child, just like his dad. If he isn't eating or being held, he's wailing. I've become a huge fan of the Hot Sling, which I was hesitant to buy because of the hefty price tag but it's been worth every penny! Here's a picture of the little guy all nuzzled up in it - just like he's back in my belly. My mom and I decided we're going to make a bunch so you can all have them for a fraction of the price. :)
