He's How Many??

Our "Biggest Boy" Christian turned 4 on April 26th. It makes me sad that he's getting growing up so fast but it's also a fun age. So many questions and he talks about everything with great detail. He's quite the "know-it-all" (hmmm...I think I know where he got that from) and has the best memory!
My sweet, tenderheart is always happy and
adores his friends, family, church and school.

I hope his excitement about life and people never goes away. Wish I could just bottle up that pure innocence forever ...

Round 1 of Parties at Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dave's House

Somebody got SPOILED!!

Brother steals a lick - BUSTED

THE STAR WARS PARTY at Fat Cats

He had been planning his "Star Wars" party for months so it was nice it FINALLY came. Now he talks about his past life as a 3-year old like it was eons ago. "When I was 3 and 1/2 that was my style" and "I danced like that when I was 3 but now I dance like this."
AND he's already planning his birthday when he turns 5, which will be a Ninja Turtle party, just so you all know. Let's hope it's not another long year of birthday obsessing. Guess that's just part of the fun!

Mr. Mason sure loved the cupcakes but what food doesn't he love.

Presents galore!
My attempt at Star Wars cupcakes in his fave color of course.

I am Iron Man
Gaming fun - the guys got more into the gaming than the kids. You should have seen Troy wheeling and dealing with the poor kids at the ticket counter.
That's what I needed a picture of! It was like his gambling days all over again...glad he was entertained.

Between families, preschool, church and playgroup - it turned into 4 parties for our 4 year-old! Whew! Fun, fun but so glad it's over. Thanks fam for the fun parties and presents! Now it's like Christmas morning at our house - everyone better send your kiddos over to play Iron Man and Star Wars.
Happy Happy Birthday Cool Christian.
We love you!!

Post Office Fury

I stop at the post office to mail a package, pick a box off the wall ($2.98) and start packing my items. I see packing tape sitting on the counter so I begin taping my box up while I wait. My turn. I set my box on the scale and the lecture begins.
Postal Worker: You can't use Express Mail tape on that box, you need clear tape.
Me: Okay, do you have some tape I CAN use?
No but you can buy some over on the wall.
No thanks, I already have tape at home. Can I just pay for the shipping and take the box with me to tape and bring back?
No, if you take the box with you and bring it back, they'll think there's a bomb inside.
HUH?!? So I had to pay for the stupid box and leave with it unshipped. Total waste of time and why didn't I leave the dang box?? And they seriously wonder why the post office is going broke! Next time I'll head straight to UPS or FedEx where they'll happily provide a box, tape it shut and ship it all for one flat rate. Done! What happened to customer service?

So Delicious

I just want to eat those
plump kissy lips!!

Note the ukulele and watering pail in his tight little grip. That's right, Mr. Mason has started carting around random toys everywhere we go - including Christian's soccer game (we were on our way home). He wasn't about to let go of those prized posessions in his sleep - NO WAY - big brother just might steal them.

Oh I don't want this darling, sleeping babe to grow up! He's just so sweet and innocent...in his sleep, that is.

Go Jazz!

Date night in the Jazz Suite (compliments of my work). It wasn't such a great game (like last night) - they lost by 20 (to the Suns) but it was still fun - plus the free dinner, fabulous desserts and night away from kiddos made it that much better! I never get too into the game anyway, but it's always great people-watching...and did I mention the food?? Enough said. Go Jazz!!

More Sunny St. George

With the lack of sunshine here today, I must reminisce our past couple trips down to sunny St. George (wish we were there now). We've made it our new frequent, spontaneous destination this Spring (3 times in the past 2 months). We are grateful for so many family pads to crash at - thanks guys!

After the second snowstorm Easter week, I had enough of the cold! (haven't we all??) So I packed up the kiddos and headed down solo to meet up with family and friends. Sounds crazy going alone but the boys were great little travelers! My poor hubby had to work and I ditched him on our anniversary. Could not resist the sunshine. (Sorry honey, Happy 5 years!! I love you!)

APRIL TRIP

thinking 'bout a dip?
We soaked in the sun poolside in 80 degree weather at the Casablanca in Mesquite and Entrada Country Club (aka High School Musical pool). Little bit of heaven after a long winter...now bring on summer!

Christian the fish LOVES to swim!

Scoping the views or trying to escape??

Sand time with friends in Mesquite

Skate lessons from Uncle Conner

Rare occurance - actually sharing with a friend. Good job!

Mr. Serious in the sand

MARCH TRIP

Beautiful Snow Canyon

The Shiner - note his pirate shirt really fits the look AND his personality! (took a tumble on the red rocks, even had cactus pricks in the bum but he's a tough one...can't you tell?)

We love our great-Grammie!

Bumper Cars with Aunt Kelly

Family stroll in Snow Canyon

Brotherly Love?? More like fighting over who gets to hold the leash.
Sand Dunes Stud

Picnic on the golf course - check out the view!
3 little ones packed in the back for a wild ride! It was indeed, we got snowed in at a Payson motel (yes with 2 babes and a dog in tow). Luckily I was not alone...had lots of help from family.

Eggs, Eggs & Bunnies too

Annual Egg Hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Morgan's House - we love our fun, family traditions...

Counting our stashes...it gets a little competitive when the adults are included and there is cash at stake!

Busted feeding blue M&Ms to Baby Alec

Candy Heaven

We love you Grandma!! Thanks for the fun, fun Easter party!

What cute bunnies...

Look what the Easter Bunny brought us! While Christian hunted for his basket, Mason followed chanting "bunny bunny!"
Only green eggs for our Christian of course.

Mason insisted on dying the eggs himself, which led to him throwing the eggs in the color with a big SPLASH and then throwing them onto the table where they'd CRACK! He was squealing with joy the whole time.

More Easter Poses

I had to share the rest of our fun Easter pics...I thought they turned out so cute! And no bunnies were harmed in the process (although Mason would have loved to sqeeze and poke the lil' guy).

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all from my
little Easter Bunnies...
(yes, that's a real bunny in the pail, poor bunny barely survived Mason's grip)
