3 weeks and 2 days in counting - YIKES! It still doesn't seem like reality that I'll be holding my sweet baby girl SO SOON! I really am thrilled to meet her, see what she looks like, hold her and soak in the newborn stage. I LOVE it!! But honestly, I'm really not miserable yet. Still sleeping decent (knock on wood), not too hot or uncomfortable or swollen or any of those not so fun things. I'm truly grateful that I feel so good while preggers, I know it's rare. Other than feeling huge, not being able to bend over, occasional body parts jabbing my organs, peeing every 10 minutes, protecting my large belly from my wrestling boys and losing my breath after walking up my stairs...I feel pretty great! No complaints (okay, the difficulty of shaving legs is a struggle but that's minor).
The true test will be next weekend when I'm in charge of my company party for 6,000+ people at This is the Place Heritage Park. Have you walked those steep dirt paths in the heat?? It kicks off with an early morning 5k race (not that I'll be running but I'll be setting up and shuffling the crowds, large and in charge), live entertainment, catered BBQ lunch, etc. - all planned by yours truly. I'll be cruising the hills of the park in a sweet golf cart and hoping for no labor pains. If I can survive my big event, I'm home free. Not too worried since I've never actually gone into labor myself, let alone early. But maybe this event will kick off some action!
Am I ready otherwise?? Let's say I've had my fun buying pink clothes, girly accessories (oh the headbands, bows, tights and shoes gallore) and blankies. Still haven't got the nursery setup, crib moved, baby gear out of shed or anything washed. Guess I have a busy few weeks of "nesting" ahead. What are your favorite baby girl shopping spots and must have accessories?? Even being the girly girl that I am, this pink & ruffles baby shopping is still new to my world of superheroes and weapons. Please share your tips my friends!
Let the countdown begin!

A couple of my 'must-haves'.....those light weight swaddeling blankets that everyone has. I didn't have them with my girls but did with Roman and I LOVE them. Also, my hooter hider...it's nice to be somewhat stylish when pulling your boobs out in public:) Lactation Station was my go to place. They have awesome stuff and a doctor scale that I would take Roman in and weigh him on when he was young.
oh must have accessories...bows bows and more bows. babyblingbows.com are an absolute must have they are so cute and SO comfy on the babies heads (I mean they seem to be comfortable). Also baby gap, babinskis, persnickety clothing, matilda Jane and nordstrom are all favorite clothes shops. so fun little girls are so fun!!!
We need to get together!!! I mean I have 3 little girls now and all I do is shop for pink things! Gap is still by far my favorite! But as far as bows and stuff I do have a couple favorites!Call me!
